Creating a Platform Document Library

The «Platform Document Library» type is derived from the «Document Library» type in SharePoint. Libraries of this type implement the same functionality as the «Document Libraries», but at the same time they have additional capabilities embedded in the platform.


In the «Settings» shortcut menu available in the upper right corner of the System, select «Site Contents» and click the «Add an App» button. On the page that opens, select the «Platform Document Library» application.


Further actions and recommendations for creating and renaming the list are similar to those used for the Platform custom list. A number of additional features are available in the options of the Platform library compared to the SharePoint library.
