Platform: Required fields settings

The «Platform: Required fields settings » settings page is used to set the mandatory field conditions for each type of list content.

 

On the list options page, select «Platform: Required fields settings ». The following options are available on the settings page:

  • Enable / Disable required fields. Specifies on / off settings in the list. The default value is «Off». In this case, the specified settings will not be applied, the SharePoint binding settings will be applied.
  • Сontent type. Allows you to set individual settings for the mandatory fields for each type of content list.
  • Enable / Disable required fields. Specifies on / off settings for content type. The default value is «Off». In this case, the specified settings will not be applied, the SharePoint binding settings will be applied.
  • Required fields for content type. Allows you to configure the mandatory parameters of the fields of the selected content type. On the configuration form, select the fields for which you want to apply the conditions of obligation and specify the conditions.

 

 

Examples of the mapping of the mandatory field depending on the values of another field are shown in the figures:

 

 

In the mandatory fields settings, conditions cannot be set depending on the parent lists.
