Platform Assign to-do task
Platform Assign to-do task
The «Platform Assign to-do task» workflow action is derived from the «Assign to-do task» action in Nintex Workflow. The action «Platform Assign to-do task» implements the same functionality as «Assign to-do task», but at the same time it has additional capabilities embedded in the platform..
When writing values to the fields «Person or Group» and «Platform: Person or Group» of the assigned task (both through the action «Platform Assign to-do task» and «Assign to-do task») it is necessary to transfer the login name of an account. Writing multiple values to the fields «Person or Group» and «Platform: Person or Group» in the specified workflow actions is not supported.
Add the action «Platform Assign to-do task» in the workflow designer and go to its settings. In the form that opens, the following parameters are available:
- Assignees. Allows you to specify user accounts or roles to which the task will be assigned.
- Create individual tasks for all group members. If the parameter has the value «Yes» and the role account is specified in the parameter «Assignees», then a separate task will be assigned for each employee included in this role. If the parameter is «No», then one task will be assigned to the specified role.

- Allow delegation. If the parameter is set to «Yes», then the users specified as delegates of the task executors will receive a notification about the task assignment. If the parameter is «No», then only task performers will receive notification of the task assignment.
- Notify users who delegated their task (indicated if the value of the parameter «Allow delegation» is «Yes»). If the parameter is set to «Yes», both the task executors and their delegates will receive notification of the assignment of the task. If the parameter is «No», then only delegates of the task executors will receive notification of the task assignment.
- Perform a recursive search for delegates (relevant if there are several levels of delegation: from user A to user B, from user B to user C, etc.). Determines whether to perform a recursive search among delegates. If the parameter is set to «Yes», all delegates in the hierarchy will receive notification of the assignment of the task. If the parameter is «No», then only the first level delegate will receive notification of the task assignment.
- Allow the use of LazyApproval. Allows you to use LazyApproval functionality when completing a task.
- Task description. Allows you to specify a description of the task.
- Task options (relevant if several employees or roles are specified as task performers).
Allows you to select the processing mode of the response to the task:
- Create individual tasks for all group members. If the parameter has the value «Yes» and the role account is specified in the parameter «Assignees», then a separate task will be assigned for each employee included in this role. If the parameter is «No», then one task will be assigned to the specified role.
- All must respond. If this option is selected, all tasks assigned to the task must be completed to continue the workflow.
- First answer apply. If this option is selected, the workflow will continue to run after completing one of the assigned tasks.
- Content type. Allows you to specify the content type of the task being created:
- Use existing. Allows you to select a content type from a list of existing types.
- Create new. Allows you to create a new type of task content.
- Task status.
- “Comment” field.
- “Send copy to” field.
- URL of the list for storing LazyApproval keys.
- These parameters are available for filling, if the parameter «Allow using LazyApproval» is set to «Yes».
- Field. Allows you to select a field from the specified task content type. After that, the selected field will become available for filling. Similarly, you can add several fields to fill out when assigning a task.
- Store task IDs in. Allows you to specify a collection type variable for storing the identifiers of the assigned tasks.
